Biker Cross Photos!

Here's a look at the stellar Biker Cross course Cowan and his crew have built for us...

here and here is the beginning of the course. rollers and doubles a plenty!
massive berms!
three steep rollers, or you can double, even triple them!
same section as the last photo, but from the opposite end
a double-able set of rollers before the first stepdown
two stepdowns then a bigger stepup
the stepup (note: it's bigger than it looks)
I call this the riser berm!
the finishing jump

some things in the Biker Cross course may have to be adjusted; it is a very difficult job to eyeball where every berm, roller, jump etc. has to go. as it is, the course is too much fun!

bikercross is difficult to ride at the end of a run a downhill bike lips and trannys are to steep and poppy. you should be able to roll/pump elements on a mtx course not forced to jump everything

I rode it this weekend. I noticed the crew took out the 3rd mini lip rigth before the 4th berm. That improved the flow on the corner.

Requests:

1: The first jumps the faces of the landing jumps are a bit to steep . at the begining of the track when your battling for possition you may hangup on it due to other riders contact, and flip the bike. Most guys are riding hard tails on the course. The lips are great though.

2: The 2nd berm ends way to fast. The beggining of the berm is too high, and the end to to low. Unless you do that berm like a wal ride you have to nail the brakes to make sure you dont shoot over the end of the berm since it vanishes

3: the lips on the two long tables next to the pro lane are perfect since you re-cut them saturday.

4: Thanks for raking out al the large rocks out of the lower berms.....its alot safer now.

5: The 2nd last table top rigth after the wave looking berm needs to be shallowed out like the big tables. It kicks you way to high for the speed you can get.

ride's nice though
